PAMI-1
The PAMI-1 satellite will realize the following mission objectives:
- To deliver a sovereign EO VHR space imaging capability for use by the operational units within the Netherlands MoD.
- To perform near real-time tasking and payload data downlink via the Space Development Agency’s transport layer using laser communications.
- To execute national sovereign tasking.
- To provide a Netherlands MoD owned capability with a competitive cost per image w.r.t.commercial.
- To execute a comprehensive set of tests to ensure that the laser communication terminal operates correctly in space conditions.
